Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 1, 2026
Bin Patrol LLC (“Bin Patrol,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you visit our websites (binpatrolwv.com and founders.binpatrolwv.com), request services, or communicate with us. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Who We Are & How to Reach Us
Bin Patrol LLC is a locally owned, veteran-owned residential trash bin cleaning company serving the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Questions about this policy? Email us at BinPatrolWV@gmail.com.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide — when you request a quote, schedule service, join the Founders Program, contact us, leave a review, or submit photos/documents, we may collect your name, email, phone number, home/billing/service address, preferred service schedule, property-access notes, and payment information (processed securely by our third-party payment provider).
Information collected automatically — when you visit our site we may collect your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, time zone, referring website, pages visited, time on page, click activity, and approximate geographic location.
3. How We Use Your Information
To schedule and provide service; process payments and send invoices; verify service locations; send appointment reminders, service confirmations, route changes, and weather updates; provide customer support; improve our website and customer experience; prevent fraud; and meet legal obligations.
4. Text Messages (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number, you consent to receive service-related texts — appointment reminders, route updates, billing notices, service confirmations, and support messages. Message frequency varies, up to approximately 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP or CANCEL to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase, and we do not sell or share your mobile opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing.
5. Email
We may send appointment confirmations, receipts, invoices, Founders Program updates, company announcements, and promotional offers. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time.
6. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, measure traffic, and improve functionality and content. We may use analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, Google Ads, and Facebook/Instagram advertising. These tools may use cookies to understand site usage and show relevant ads. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
7. Payments
Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party providers (for example, Jobber Payments / Stripe). Bin Patrol does not store complete credit card numbers on our servers; our payment providers maintain their own privacy and security practices. Customers enrolled in recurring service authorize recurring billing for the selected plan.
8. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate — such as our booking and customer-management software (Jobber), website host (Railway), and our payment, email, and SMS providers — and with legal authorities when required by law.
9. Data Security & Retention
We use commercially reasonable safeguards including SSL encryption, secure payment processing, password-protected and access-restricted systems, regular updates, and firewall protection. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information. We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, and comply with the law.
10. Your Rights
You may request to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information (subject to legal obligations), or opt out of marketing, by contacting us. Residents of California and certain other states may have additional rights, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain data sharing.
11. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
12. Third-Party Links
Our website may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time. Changes take effect when posted, and the Effective Date above reflects the latest revision.
